Because of the drought, hay prices will be in short supply and will increase in price. LyonHeart Equine Assisted Learning has the opportunity to partner with Parker Hannifin Corporation-Filtration Group (Baldwins) to fundraiser money winter hay.
Get ready for giggles, rhymes, and plenty of horse-powered fun! Inspired by the popular book The Wonky Donkey, this interactive program helps young learners build literacy skills through laughter, imagination, and hands-on activities with our horses.
With the help of our horses, participants will learn to recognize what they are feeling, notice how emotions affect their bodies, and practice simple ways to pause and calm down. They will also discover how looking for something good can help them handle difficult situations in a healthier way.
Gratitude does not mean ignoring an uncomfortable emotion. It means recognizing the feeling and choosing how to respond.
LyonHeart volunteers (& guests) are invited to join us for an afternoon of dessert pizza, laughter, friendly competition, and appreciation!
