Hay Fundraiser

Because of the drought, hay prices will be in short supply and will increase in price. LyonHeart Equine Assisted Learning has the opportunity to partner with Parker Hannifin Corporation-Filtration Group (Baldwins) to fundraiser money for the winter hay needed for the horses.

Parker is hosting an Employee Appreciation Day, and they need manpower to pull of this massive event. They are offering nonprofits an opportunity to earn money by providing the manpower.  The different jobs include registration, handing out water bottles and prizes to the children, picking up areas and etc.  Here are some of the details:

• Saturday, August 29
• 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Big Apple Fun Center
• LyonHeart will be paid $25 per person per hour.
• Shifts are in one-hour increments and volunteers can work as many as they want.
• RSVP by August 7th or sooner (just that you are interested!)

Fill out the registration if you are interested and we will get back to you soon with more details. Let us know how many can volunteer, the approximate hours, and if you prefer a sit-down job. At this point, we are not sure about youth working, since alcohol will be available to the employees. We are waiting back to hear an answer for that question.
