Does your child struggle when things don’t go as planned—big emotions, quick reactions, or shutting down?
Get Curious When Life Goes Sideways is a ground-based equine-assisted learning program where youth partner with horses to practice self-regulation, flexible thinking and learn how curiosity can help them respond appropriately when life gets challenging.
Youth will engage in hands-one activities to learn and develop the following skills: slowing down, regulating emotions and accepting feedback.
Does your child feel anxious about reading — especially reading out loud? Or maybe they already enjoy reading and just need a little boost in confidence and expression?
This spring, our HorsePowered Book Club will feature Rain & The Reading Horse by Maria Gianferrari — a powerful story about a shy young girl who discovers courage while reading to a horse named Snow.
Healthy relationships begin with one important question:
What can I learn about myself first?
Get Curious About Stable Relationships is a five-week, ground-based equine-assisted learning program designed to help youth explore self-awareness, authenticity, and personal responsibility — the foundation of every healthy connection.
Get Curious About Friends & Boundaries is a three-day HorsePowered Life Skills program designed to help your child build stronger, healthier friendships.
When youth partner with horses, they receive immediate, honest feedback about their choices, communication, and emotional awareness. They learn that trust is built through responsibility and safety — not just good intentions.
Through interactive, ground-based activities in the arena, your child will partner with a horse to practice setting boundaries, handling distractions, working as a team, and becoming the kind of friend, he/she wants to have and to be.
Travel back in time to April 18, 1775.
In this immersive, ground-based equine escape experience, youth step into history and follow the path of Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride. Using the book Paul Revere’s Ride, (written by Cynthia Klingel & Robert B. Noyed) your child will solve literacy and math-based puzzles, decode clues, and work together to carry the warning across Boston Harbor and through Lexington.
This fully interactive experience blends history, academics, and equine-assisted learning in a way that makes the past come alive.
