
Arena Volunteer – Equine-Assisted Learning
Volunteers work directly in the arena during youth sessions, observing both horse and child behavior. You’ll help redirect frustration, encourage problem-solving, and support youth as they develop confidence, emotional regulation, communication, and academic skills — all on the ground with horses.
No previous horse experience needed. We’ll provide training. You bring awareness and a willingness to learn.
Time spent volunteering for LyonHeart EAL will count toward school and community service hours.

Summer Training:
Volunteer training is mandatory for all returning and new volunteers. Upon completion of training, volunteers receive a t-shirt to wear when volunteering.
