Onomatopoeia, what? BANG, SNAP, WHOOSH – words that go with a sound. In this poetry program students will take time to listen to their surroundings and create a poem using onomatopoeia words. Listening, brainstorming, drafting and completing a poem to share with the other participants paired with a craft illustrating their chosen horse buddy.
Date: July 24, Monday – One day only
Time: Choose 9:00 am to 11:00 am OR 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Group size: Limited to six (6) with a minimum of two youth
Grades: 1st grade and Up
Program Fee: $40 per child
T-shirt: Included when your child attends any two single programs, or one is available for $12 each.
Requirements:
No riding activities. No prior horse experience is needed.
All activities are completed in an outdoor setting.
