#2 Ponies & Poetry in Motion – Haiku

A haiku is an unrhymed three-line poem, based on a traditional Japanese poetic form. Creating a Haiku poem will require your child to use the whole-body approach, using all their senses and their keen observation skills. Your child will sync with their horse buddy to not only create the lyrics, but also create movement.

Date: July 25 (Tuesday) – One day only

Time:  Choose 9:00 am to 11:00 am OR 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Group size:  Limited to six (6) with a minimum of two youth

Grades:  Completed Kindergarten and Up

Program Fee:  $45 per child

  • Contact us for a discount when registering for all three Ponies & Poetry in Motion programs. ((Discount cannot be combined with Program Assistance)
  • Program assistance available: Program Assistance Application must be submitted. Families will be notified once all supporting documents has been submitted. Families only need to apply one time per year.

T-shirt: Included when your child attends any two single programs, or one is available for $10 each.

Requirements:

  • Program fees are due on the first day.
  • Closed-toed shoes.
  • Signed Release of Liability by parent/guardian (to be emailed to you. Only one signed form per year.)

No riding activities. No prior horse experience is needed.

All activities are completed in an outdoor setting.
