Volunteer Orientation – Cancelled

If you love smiles, horses and children, then you have found the right place to volunteer.

Due to the cold weather (forecasted for Tuesday. September 8), the volunteer orientation has been cancelled.

If you would like to be a volunteer for the Fall programs, please fill out a volunteer form and we will be in touch with you to set up an individual training time.

As a volunteer, you will assist in getting the horses ready for the activities (haltering). You will greet and interact with the children as they arrive at the activities, assist as needed during the activities and be an active observer of  the interactions between the horses and the children.

No horse experience – no  problem.  We will train you!

Age requirement:  15 and up

Anyone needing community service hours for high school or college is welcome.

If you have already attended a volunteer orientation in 2020, you need not attend this one, unless you would like to help train the new volunteers.
