Speak UP

Parents:  Does your child become “shy” in front of others? Speaking up in front of a crowd?  Then this is the place to be. With the help of our four-legged teachers, your child will have to opportunity to practice is public speaking skills with confidence.  Participants will be introduced to writing a simple poem (or choose a pre-written one) and will practice public speaking skills to a horse, a friend, a new friend and a group. 

Who: Homeschool Families all ages

• Children 4 and under will have activities outside the arena.
• Parents need to stay and assist as needed.
• Parents are expected to stay with their younger children when the older ones participate in the horse activities.

When:  Wednesday, September 13, 2023

Grades:  Kindergarten and up

Time:  9:30 – 11:00 AM

Program Fee:

• $30 per family (Special price just for homeschool families.)
• Due the morning of the program. Checks payable to LyonHeart EAL, Cash or pay on-line.

Requirements:

• Closed toed shoes.
• Release of Liability signed – one per family. The release will be emailed to you.

All activities are completed in an outdoor arena.
