Stable Relationships

Stable Relationship program is a six-week program tailored for young individuals.  Engaging youth with horses in a casual outdoor setting. Through social and emotional equine-assisted learning activities, your youth will be developing a solid base of self-acceptance which is fundamental to all healthy relationships.

• Please check your calendars before registering. It is important that your youth be able to attend all six programs.
• Available to youth who have NOT previously attended one of previous Stable Relationship programs this year.
• We understand that unplanned events happen, one absence is allowed, if necessary.
• Parents plan to attend a 20-minute meeting on the first day – September 3.
• Parents and Youth will take pre- and post-assessments.
• Graduation ceremony on the final day (October 8). Family & Friends are invited.

Ages:  11 to 17 years old.

Dates:  Six (6) consecutive Tuesdays, beginning September 3 through October 8.

Time:  5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Location:  3135 West 22nd Street, Kearney, Nebraska

Registration Fee:

• $25 (non-refundable) secures your youth’s place in the corral. Additional program assistance is not available.
• Due to the high demand of this program, the registration fee must accompany the registration.
• Costs have been secured through a grant from the Arram Family Foundation.

Other information:

• All activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter). Expect to get dirty.
•  Closed-toed shoes are a must.
• No riding and previous horse experience needed.
• Program value is $500 per individual.
