“Belonging vs. Fitting-In” Book Club

Parents – does your child need to fit in a bit of reading time this summer? Do you find it tricky to explain the difference between “belonging and fitting-in” to your child?
If so, then sign your youth up for this unique book club where we brush up on reading skills and learn the valuable life skill of belonging vs fitting-in while partnering with a horse, of course!
Equine-assisted activities will be based on the book: “The Amazing True Story of The Little White Horse Who Wanted to be Brown” by Rebecca J. Lillis
Dates: Mondays – June 10, 17 & 24 (3-week program)
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (2 hours)
Grades: Completed Kindergarten and Up
Group Size: 6
Location: 3135 West 22nd Street, Kearney, Nebraska
Program Fee:
- $80 – Due on or before the first day.
- $75 – if paid by May 13.

Requirements:
- Closed-toed shoes.

- No previous horse experience needed.
- No riding activities.
- All activities are completed on the ground.
