“Mati-Tude Vs. Grati-Tude” – HorsePowered Life Skills

From Mad-tude to Gratitude
Children in kindergarten and up are invited to join us as we explore emotions and practice changing our mad-tude to gratitude.
With the help of our horses, participants will learn to recognize what they are feeling, notice how emotions affect their bodies, and practice simple ways to pause and calm down. They will also discover how looking for something good can help them handle difficult situations in a healthier way.
Gratitude does not mean ignoring an uncomfortable emotion. It means recognizing the feeling and choosing how to respond.
Participants will build:
- Emotional awareness and vocabulary
- Calming and self-regulation skills
- Patience and flexible thinking
- Gratitude and positive perspective
- Confidence when facing frustrations
