This adventure will be a unique experience – Your child will collaborate with her teammates as they discuss this fun book to discover clues to the puzzles along the route each of the four weeks. \nBook: Buffalo Bill & the Pony Express by Eleanor Coerr  \n(Students will be given the book on the first day.) \nDates: Tuesdays- September 6\, 13\, 20 & 27 \nThis program meets for four consecutive Tuesdays in September. \nTime:  Choose – 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. OR 5:30- 7:00 p.m. \nGrades: 2 & Up (Independent reading is a plus\, but not necessary) \nGroup Size:  6 \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram fee:  $80 – Full Price     $50 – Partial Scholarship \nRegistration fee:  $10.00 one-time fee applies to all participants. \nScholarships:  Partial Scholarships are available. DESCRIPTION:“Just calm down!” Easier said than done when emotions are ramping up. Ask any child. In this unique program\, Mango (our resident equine emotional expert) will demonstrate to your child how he can learn to “Flip that Emotional Switch” through illustration (cartooning).  Joselynne Gomez (with the help of Mango) will guide your child to recognize the signs of tension in his own body – breathe and relax to “flip that switch” to avoid the ultimate meltdown.   \nJoselynn Gomez\, creator of this program\, is a third-year student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney – studying Elementary Education. Joselinne has been a faithful volunteer for the past three years. \nTarget Skills:  Regulating & identifying emotions\, Recognizing tension \nWhen:  Monday\, September 12 – One evening only \nTime:   5:30 – 6:45 pm \nLimited to six (6) participants. \nGrades:  Completed Kindergarten and up \nProgram Fee:   $35 Full price \n$25.00 – Partial Scholarship fee \nRegistration Fee – $10.00 one-time fee (per year) that applies to all participants \nT-shirts available for a donation of $12.00. \nScholarships:  Partial scholarships available. \nActivities take place in an outdoor arena and activity shelter. All while interacting with horses. \nA beautiful party has been all set up for you and your friends.  But\, oh no\, some party poopers crashed the party and hid all the treats. You and your friends will have to search high and low to find clues to find the missing treats.
