Youth are asked to commit to all six-weeks.\nIf a participant is unable to attend a scheduled session\, make-up sessions are limited and are offered at the individual rate of $100 per hour. Payment must be received prior to the scheduled make-up session.\nIf LyonHeart EAL needs to cancel a session\, a make-up date will be scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient for all participants.\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).\nClosed-toed shoes are mandatory.\nNo riding and previous horse experience needed.\n\nProgram value is $600 per individual. SUMMARY:Get Curious About Going Back-to-School
DESCRIPTION:Get Curious About Going Back-to-School is program designed to help your child start the school year feeling capable and confident. \nEach day focuses on a different skill area: \nMath: Hands-on\, movement-based challenges using creative props in the arena to strengthen flexible thinking\, pattern recognition\, and problem-solving — helping children build a stronger “math brain” and the confidence to try new strategies when the first answer doesn’t work. \nWriting: Your child will create a Cinquain poem inspired by their horse partner.  Don’t tell them\, but they will be reviewing nouns\, verbs\, and adjectives while building descriptive language\, organization skills\, and confidence in expressing their ideas clearly. \nOrganization: While partnering with a horse\, your child will learn practical strategies to take ownership of getting themselves ready for school: planning ahead\, checking their own materials\, and following through on responsibilities — building the habits and accountability needed so they are prepared without relying on you (parents) to manage the details for them. \nThis ground-based (no riding) program blends academics with life skills — helping your child head back to school curious\, organized\, and ready to learn. They will be having so much fun\, they won’t know they are learning valuable skills. \nDates:   Mondays\, July 20\, 27\, & August 3.   \nTime:  6:00 – 7:30 p.m. \nWho:  Grades: First Grade and UP \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size:  Limited to eight (8) youth. \nRegistration closes: Thursday\, July 16 at 4:00 pm \nRelease of Liability Form required (one per family per year): \nhttps://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$50 per youth (includes a t-shirt)\nMust be paid in advance to hold your child’s place in the corral.\nVenmo: @Lyoness-8077 (phone number ending 0135)\nRegistration payment link – adding a $3.00 service fee – https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/register/registration-payment/\n\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).   Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.  No riding and previous horse experience needed. \nProgram value is $300 per individual.
