This five-week program provides youth with the opportunity to develop self-acceptance and authenticity – essential elemental of al positive relationships. \nThrough equine-assisted activities\, youth will build key life skills such as self-awareness\, confidence\, empathy\, trust and resilience.  Youth will team with the same horse throughout the five weeks\, helping them develop valuable life skills they need to grow. \nYouth who successfully complete the five-week program will have first opportunity to enroll in the Stable Relationship II program in July. \nParents/Guardians: There will be a 20-minute parent/guardian meeting on the first day.\nWho:  Youth who are 11 years old and older \nDates:  Five (5) consecutive Tuesdays\, beginning April 15 through May 13. \nTime:  5:30-7:30 p.m. \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size: \n\nLimited to five (5) youth.\nYouth must commit to attending and participating in all five sessions in order to successfully complete the program to be invited to participate in Stable Relationships II in July.\n\nRelease of Liability Form required: https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$50 (non-refundable) holds your youth’s place in the corral.\nDue to the high demand of this program\, the registration fee must accompany the registration.\nVenmo: @Lyoness-8077 (phone number ending 0135)\nCash or check: Payable to LyonHeart EAL\, 3135 West. 22 Street\, Kearney\, NE  68845\nRegistration payment link – adding a $3.00 service fee – https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/register/registration-payment/\n\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).   Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.  No riding and previous horse experience needed. \nProgram value is $500 per individual. SUMMARY:Stable Relationships "Heard it from the Herd"
DESCRIPTION:New adventure for Parent and Child \nLooking for a fun fall activity with your child? Then look no further. “Heard it from the Herd” engages both parent and child in unique games while interacting with horses. Activities will include: traveling through an obstacle course that you & your child design\, an egg relay\, creative writing\, and “tail” painting. Prepare for lots of laughter as you spend quality\, enjoyable time with your child! \n\nOctober 4-5-6  (Three consecutive evenings)\n6:00-7:30 PM – each evening\nLimited to one parent and one child (ages 7 and up)\nClass size:  Limited to four families.\n\nSpecial Instructions when registering: \n\nParent/Guardian – Name of Parent/Guardian who will be attending with the child\nParticipant Name – Name of Child who will be attending\nPersonal Information – Pertains to the child attending. If the parent/guardian has any information that we need to be aware of\, please share in the “Other Information” Section.\nT-shirt – List the size of the child. List the parent/guardian size in the “Other Concerns” section.\n\nProgram Fees: \n\nFull scholarships – no cost to family unit – based on availability\nPartial Scholarship – $100 per family unit (one parent & one child)\nFull Price – $200 per family unit (one parent & one child)\nPayment due on the first day of program (cash or check) or pay electronically via Donation page.\n\nActivities: \n\nTake place in an outdoor arena and activity shelter\nNo riding\nNo previous horse experience\nMust wear closed toed shoes or boots.
