DESCRIPTION:Wanted: Readers of All Abilities \nBlaze and Forest Fire written by C.W. Anderson is an old classic filled with rich vocabulary with a setting in a different country and in a different time period (1936). \nThis book club goes beyond reading and answering standard “comprehension” and “vocabulary” questions. Your child will engage in critical thinking skills as they compare and contrast 1936 to 2025. A variety of activities and hands-on horse time are included. Book will be provided on first day. \nWho:  Completed Kindergarten and up \nDates:  Mondays\, July 7\, 14 & 21 \nTime: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size:  Limited to eight (8) youth. \nRegistration closes: Thursday\, July 3 at 4:00 pm \nRelease of Liability Form required: https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$50 (non-refundable)\nMust be paid in advance to hold your youth’s place in the corral.\nVenmo: @Lyoness-8077 (phone number ending 0135)\nRegistration payment link – adding a $3.00 service fee – https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/register/registration-payment/\n\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).   Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.  No riding and previous horse experience needed. \nProgram value is $300 per individual.
