SUMMARY:Get Curious About Stable Relationships
DESCRIPTION:Get Curious About Stable Relationships\nHealthy relationships begin with one important question:What can I learn about myself first? \nGet Curious About Stable Relationships is a six-week\, ground-based equine-assisted learning program designed to help youth explore self-awareness\, authenticity\, and personal responsibility — the foundation of every healthy connection. \nWhen youth partner with the same horse each week\, curiosity replaces defensiveness. Instead of asking\, “What’s wrong with me?” they begin asking\, “What is this teaching me?” \nYour youth will “Get Curious” about: \n\nHow to regulate their emotions instead of reacting quickly\nHow their tone and body language affect others\nBoundaries -Both setting and respecting them\nTrust — how it is built and how it can be repaired\nPersonal responsibility and choices\nResilience when things don’t go as planned\n\nBy the end of six (6) weeks\, participants leave not only with a stronger partnership with their horse — but with practical tools to build relationships that are grounded\, respectful\, and stable in everyday life. \nDates:   Mondays\, June 8 – July 13\, 2026  \nTime:  9:30 – 11:30 a.m. \nWho:  Completed 5th grade and UP \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size:  Limited to four (4) youth. \nRegistration closes: when there are four (4) paid registrations \nRelease of Liability Form required (one per family per year) \nhttps://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$70 per youth (non-refundable) 6-week program\nBecause of the demand of this program\, registration fee must be paid at the time of the registration to hold your youth’s place in the corral.\nVenmo: @Lyoness-8077 (phone number ending 0135)\nRegistration payment link – adding a $3.00 service fee – https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/register/registration-payment/\n\n\n\n\n\nNo refunds. When given a 7-days’ notice of cancellation\, program fees may be transferred to another 2026 program. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional information: \n\nThere will be a 20-minute parent meeting on the first day.\nEach week intentionally builds on the previous session. Youth are asked to commit to all six-weeks.\nIf a participant is unable to attend a scheduled session\, make-up sessions are limited and are offered at the individual rate of $100 per hour. Payment must be received prior to the scheduled make-up session.\nIf LyonHeart EAL needs to cancel a session\, a make-up date will be scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient for all participants.\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).\nClosed-toed shoes are mandatory.\nNo riding and previous horse experience needed.\n\nProgram value is $600 per individual. Thanks to our generous sponsors\, the remaining costs have been covered by private donations\, business sponsors\, fundraising events and West Pharmaceutical Services. \nFurther program assistance is limited and will be determined by a case-by-case basis.  To be considered\, please fill out the application (located under the registration tab) in its entirety and submit ALL supporting documents prior to registration on/before June 1\, 2026. \nFor more information\, contact Nancy at Nancy@LyonHeartLearning.org
