DESCRIPTION:Arena Volunteer – Equine-Assisted LearningVolunteers work directly in the arena during youth sessions\, observing both horse and child behavior. You’ll help redirect frustration\, encourage problem-solving\, and support youth as they develop confidence\, emotional regulation\, communication\, and academic skills — all on the ground with horses. \nNo previous horse experience needed.  We’ll provide training. You bring awareness and a willingness to learn. \nTime spent volunteering for LyonHeart EAL will count toward school and community service hours. \nVolunteers must: \n\n12 years old and up\nComplete a volunteer application\n\n https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/volunteer/\n\n\nComplete a background check (for those 19 years and up)\nComplete a Release of Liability Form https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/\nBe willing to be a team-player\n\nSummer Training: \n\nTuesday\, June 2 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.\n\nVolunteer training is mandatory for all returning and new volunteers. Upon completion of training\, volunteers receive a t-shirt to wear when volunteering. \nEarn LyonHeart EAL Swag: \n\nComplete 20 hours and earn a stocking hat or a ball cap\nComplete 40 hours and earn a sweatshirt
