DESCRIPTION:This innovative leadership program challenges youth to redefine what it means to lead—not through commands or control\, but through connection\, self-awareness\, and servant leadership. \nParticipants will step into leadership roles that focus on guiding through influence rather than authority\, learning how to listen\, collaborate\, and care for their team before giving direction. \nYouth will engage in hands-one activities with the following themes: \n\nReact vs Respond\nVerbal vs Non-verbal Communicaton\nControl vs Letting Go\nExcuses vs Accountability\n\nWho:  Ages10 and UP \nDates:   Wednesdays\, July 9\, 16\, 30 & August 6.  Group will not meet on July 23. \nTime:  9:30 – 11:30 a.m. \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size:  Limited to eight (8) youth. \nRegistration closes: Thursday\, July 3 at 4:00 pm \nRelease of Liability Form required (one per family per year) \nhttps://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$50 (non-refundable)\nMust be paid in advance to hold your youth’s place in the corral.\nVenmo: @Lyoness-8077 (phone number ending 0135)\nRegistration payment link – adding a $3.00 service fee – https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/register/registration-payment/\n\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).   Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.  No riding and previous horse experience needed. \nProgram value is $400 per individual. DESCRIPTION:This program is a repeat of the June program. \nThis HorsePowered Life Skill program focuses on building listening skills through engaging equine-assisted activities aimed at enhancing your child’s communication abilities.
