DESCRIPTION:Please note the unique set of dates for this program! \nThis program focuses on listening skills through engaging equine-assisted activities aimed at enhancing your child’s communication abilities. By partnering with a horse\, your child will improve both verbal and non-verbal communication\, witnessing firsthand the importance of giving and receiving directions effectively. \nYour child will have the opportunity to learn that good listening skills include following and giving directions\, enhancing understanding\, building relationships\, and boosting empathy. \nLife Skills: Verbal & Non-verbal Communication\, Empathy & Listening to Understand \nWho:  Completed Kindergarten and UP \nDates:  June 23 (Monday)\, 24 (Tuesday)\, & 30 (Monday) \nTime: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size:  Limited to eight (8) youth. \nRegistration closes: Sunday\, June 22 at 4:00 pm \nRelease of Liability Form required: https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$50 (non-refundable)\nMust be paid in advance to hold your youth’s place in the corral.\nVenmo: @Lyoness-8077 (phone number ending 0135)\nRegistration payment link – adding a $3.00 service fee – https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/register/registration-payment/\n\nAll activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).   Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.  No riding and previous horse experience needed. \nProgram value is $300 per individual.
