If you wish to be put waitlist:https://forms.gle/PqxURnsJWx3o2QYd8 \nStable Relationship program is a six-week program designed specifically for youth in currently in grades 5-8. This program harnesses the incredible power of horses to equip youth with positive character and leadership traits needed to develop healthy relationships at home\, school and life through social and emotional equine-assisted learning activities. The program focuses on a different goal each week while partnered with the same horse each week. A graduation ceremony will be held to celebrate accomplishments and learnings on the final day. \n\nYouth will be developing a relationship with one horse\, by paying very close attention to the body language of their horse\, and how they are communicating nonverbally to their horse and others.\n\n\nYouth will learn to independently groom\, halter and lead their horse through a variety of obstacle courses. Reflection journals will be completed each session.\n\n\nThere will be a 20-minute parent meeting on the first day.\nWho:  Youth who will be in Grades 5\, 6\, 7 & 8 this fall (or just completed grade 8) \nDates:  Six (6) consecutive Tuesdays\, beginning June 11 through July 23. (No program on July 2) \nTime:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m. \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Size: \n\nLimited to five (5) youth.\nIt is imperative that your youth commits to attending all six sessions.\n\nRelease of Liability Form required: https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/ \nRegistration Fee: \n\n$25 (non-refundable) holds your child’s place in the corral.\nDue to the high demand of this program\, the registration fee must accompany the registration.\nFirst come – first serve. If you would like to put your child on the waitlist: https://forms.gle/Sf3FSQ6iSQAzHTNr6 \nIn times of stress\, it sure can be difficult for all of us to change one’s mindset of “mad-itude” to gratitude.  However\, did you know that it all starts – breathing like a horse? Did you know that horses can only breathe in/out through their noises – helping regulate their emotions? \nIf your youth could learn a thing about changing the mindset from entitlement to gratitude\, then this is course for him!  Your youth will partner with a horse to engage in some pretty fun activities – so fun\, he won’t even know that his is learning this super valuable life skill! \nLife Skills:  Emotional Regulation\, Gratitude\, Flexibility\, Confidence \nThis program will run three (3) consecutive weeks- two (2) hours per day. \nDates: Mondays – July 15\, 22\, & 29 \nTime:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (2 hours) \nGrades: Completed Kindergarten and Up \nGroup Size:  6 \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nProgram Fee: \n\n$80 – Due on or before the first day.\n$75 – if paid by June 17.\n\nProgram-fee Assistance: Completed applications & supporting documents must be submitted by July 8. https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/program-assistance/ \nRequirements: \n\nClosed-toed shoes.\nSigned Release of Liability https://www.lyonheartequinelearning.org/release-of-liability/\nNo previous horse experience needed.\nNo riding activities.
