SUMMARY:
DESCRIPTION:This program goes beyond reading and answering standard “comprehension” and “vocabulary” questions.  This unique Book Club is centered around “Literature Circle” concepts while engaging with a horse\, of course. \nYour child will discuss “The Smallest Horse” in depth.  Discussion will evolve around events and characters in the book\, the author’s craft\, or personal experiences related to the story. Your child will discover that even the smallest horse has a particular and much needed job to do in life. \nBook: The Smallest Horse by Lori List & Amanda Holbo. (Students will be given the book on the first day.) \nDates: Wednesdays- April 6\, 13\, 20 & 27 \nTime:  1:00 – 2:30 p.m. OR 4:15 – 5:45 p.m. \nGrades: 1-3 (Independent reading is a plus\, but not necessary.) \nGroup Size:  6 \nLocation:  3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, Nebraska \nCost: One time – $10 registration fee in 2022.
