SUMMARY:Reading Round Up Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Reading Round Up Book Club (Literacy Circle) \nMaximum: six (6) youth in grades 4-6 to participate in our Pilot Program – Reading Round Up Book Club (Literacy Circle). \nWhen: Five (5) consecutive Tuesdays beginning September 8 & ending October 5. \nTime:  10:00 to 11:15 AM \nBook:  “The Adventures at the Short & Sweet Ranch” by Nadine Davies – living in Ravenna\, Nebraska \nEach youth will be be responsible for adding to the in-depth discussion of the book through various rotating: Discussion Director\, Illustrator\, Connector\, Wordsmith\, Summarizer & Investigator. The youth will also be interacting with the horses in a variety of activities (no riding) to reinforce learnings. \nCost:  $60 Register and pre-pay on or before September  3rd   \n$75 Register on or after September 3rd \nFee includes the book but not a t-shirt.  (No scholarships available.)  \nT-shirts will be available for $12 (our cost). \nPayment can be made via Donation Page or sent to 3135 West 22nd Street\, Kearney\, NE  68845 \nActivities take place in an outdoor arena and activity shelter. In-climate weather – activities will be in the house. \n

DESCRIPTION:Is there tension in your home when your child’s homework comes out? Perhaps you’re concerned about your child falling behind. Our four-legged teachers specialize in renewing your child’s excitement for reading & math and bringing calm to the chaos.  \nTopics will include verbs\, geometry\, & and creating a Barn Quilt. \n\nSeptember 20-21-22 (Three consecutive evenings. Monday\, Tuesday\, Wednesday)\n6:00-7:30 PM – each evening\nGrades:  Kindergarten -3rd Grade Only\nClass size:  Limited to six (6) per program\n\nProgram Fees: \n\nFull Scholarships – no cost  – Based on availability.\nPartial Scholarships – $100 per program  –  unlimited per child/family\nFull Price – $200 per program\nPayment due on the first day of program (cash or check) or pay electronically via Donation page.\n\nActivities: \n\nTake place in an outdoor arena and activity shelter\nNo riding\nNo previous horse experience\nMust wear closed toed shoes or boots. Absolutely no sandals or flip-flops are to be worn in the arena.
