DESCRIPTION:Did you know? One study found that 82% of students in sixth grade who\nhad failed an English class could not graduate from high school. (Source:\nRenaissance) Our program strives to increase your child’s reading\ncomprehension and develop creative writing skills. We accomplish this by\nintroducing your child to the unique vocabulary associated with horses. Your\nchild will understand the words they are learning and using in concrete\, real world contexts. \nTarget skills:  Comprehension\, Creative Writing & Horse Vocabulary \nEach program will run three (3) consecutive days – two (2) hours per day. Choose only a morning or an evening program. \n\n9:00 – 11:00 AM OR 6:00 – 8:00 PM\nUp to a maximum of 6 participants – dependent upon the number of students that have a behavioral Individual Education Plan.\n\nCost:  $200/$100*/ or No-Cost** \nGrades:  Grades 3 and Up \nScholarships: \n\n**Full Scholarships may be limited  –  due to the number of applicants\n*Partial Scholarships ($100) are not limited\n\nActivities take place in an outdoor arena and activity shelter. No riding. No previous horse experience needed.
