SUMMARY:HorsePowered Reading - Grades K-3 ONLY
DESCRIPTION:Help your child progress towards true reading mastery. Our program allows\nyour child to learn critical reading concepts through one-on-one interaction and group activities. This program includes various activities that take place on the ground with a reading (horse) buddy. This unique program integrates\nkinetic learning strategies with cognitive development. In other words\, every\nchild will exercise their brain while having fun! \nAll activities will be based around the book – “The Wonky Donkey.” \nTarget skills:  Comprehension\, Sight Words\, Creative Writing & Vocabulary \nEach program will run three (3) consecutive days – two (2) hours per day. Choose only a morning or an evening program. \n\n9:00 – 11:00 AM OR 6:00 – 8:00 PM\nUp to a maximum of 6 participants – dependent upon the number of students that have a behavioral Individual Education Plan.\n\nCost:  $200/$100*/ or No-Cost** \nGrades:  Kindergarten through Grade 3 \nScholarships: \n\n**Full Scholarships may be limited  –  due to the number of applicants\n*Partial Scholarships ($100) are not limited\n\nActivities take place in an outdoor arena and activity shelter. No riding. No previous horse experience needed.
